It's a name I've never liked even tough I can't pinpoint why. Plus it reminds me of Maya the beeI can see the name on every generation, so yes I think it ages well.

I've been told repeatedly - on this website especially - that I pronounce this name wrong. But pronounce either way (I say is MAY-ah - others say it MY-ah which I think would be Mya personally) it does age well, better than Mia but I prefer May / Mae / Mai.

I like Maia (also Maya- I pronounce them the same way and go back and forth on which spelling I prefer.) I think Maia would age fine. Don't see why not.

I love Maia (this spelling only) and I think it would age very well. My fave combo is Maia Cassandra.

Maia is wonderful. I prefer Maia to Maya (I say both as "MIE-uh") because I love ancient Roman mythology. But both are great. I know you didn't ask about Maya, but I always think I have to address both becasue they are so similar. Maia (and Maya) would age very well. Why wouldn't they? Maia Celeste is my stock combination for it. :-)

I think Maia is pretty. Spelt this way I pronounce it "MY-uh", spelt like Maya, I pronounce it "MAY-uh". I prefer Maya.I don't know if it ages well, I have never met an adult Maia. However, it's not too cutesy and there are plenty of 4-letter names ending in A which age really well, so I don't see why not.
