Eva! I like both, and Emma is a lovely classic, but it's everywhere at the moment. Eva has been fairly underused, I feel, and is both strong and sweet. I would consider Eva for my own child.

I find Emma very weak and uninteresting, so spunky Eva wins every time.

Eva without a doubt. I have loved this name for years and find it feminine, timeless and spunky.

Eva! But both are nice.

Emma. I think it will always be one of my favorite names.I love Eve, but Eva is a little blah. Ambiguous pronunciations are a turn off for me, so that's another strike against Eva. I never know how to say it. Is it EE-va? EH-va? AY-va? I'm always guessing, and I usually guess wrong.

Definitely Eva!

Eva. Emma is timeless, I'm sure, but I'm quite tired of hearing it:) it's just everywhere!
Eva is beautiful, also timeless, elegant, and not something you hear three of every time you visit the grocery store or the library.

I like Emma more.

Emma, unless Eva is EH-vuh instead of EE-va, and then I prefer Eva. If it's between Emma and Eve, I prefer Eve.

Definitely Eva. It's so sharp!

Eva, hands down. I loathe Emma, it's so doughy and mumbly.

Emma. I like both, but for some reason I can't explain, I prefer Emma.

Eva. Eva seems spunkier. Emma is so soft and...predictable or something.
