Doing a gem-theme naming for your daughters sounds so creative!
I actually wrote a story where the main character, a boy named Zeke, had 10 sisters, each one named for a gem (the reason behind this was because their mother owned and ran a jewelry store). From oldest to youngest, they were Amethyst, Emerald, Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, Opal, Pearl, Topaz, Jade, and Beryl (formerly Peridot). Amethyst, Diamond, and Emerald made up a set of triplets, while Sapphire and Ruby as well as Topaz and Jade were twins. All the girls' middle name were for flowers (Amethyst Rose, Opal Lavender, Pearl Violet, etc.).
