Sebastian
I will start by saying that I do not like this name. I am, however, intrigued by its many nicknames. The first Sebastian I knew went by Sebby; since knowing him, I have know others to go by Bastian, Seb, Bazza, Barry, Sebastian in full and I now know a Sebas (said like "C-bass"). I can tolerate Bastian but the only nickname for Sebastian I could say that I liked is Seb.What do you think of Sebastian? Which nicknames have you heard?

I don't mind Sebastian at all and actually my DH announced not that long ago that he really liked this name! I was very shocked! Seb and Bastian would probably be my fave nn's for Sebastian.

I don't love love Sebastian, but I don't mind it either. Sebby is adorable. I also like Seb, Bastian, and Bazza as nicknames.

Sebastian to me is like Victoria or Alexandra; nothing actually wrong with it but way overrated. It puts me in mind of taking a trip to NYC and while yo're there you buy a wildly expensive purse by some well-known designer. You go back home and everybody is all "Wow, love your purse! Where'd you get it?" Then a year or so later you're at the mall and you see a whole display of your same purse, and for way cheaper than what you paid, and now even people you don't like or that have generally poor taste are buying your purse, and then you take a trip someplace else and find out your purse has been no big deal there all along.

I like Sebastian quite a bit. My favorite nickname is Seb. The only other one I've heard is Bastian, which I kind of hate.I think Sebastian is a nice name, and I'd totally use it.

I quite like Sebstian but I don't like any of the nicknames.Seb is OK, but only OK. All of the others are horrible. Especially Bazza - urgh!

I've also heard Bas and Basti as nicknames. I like Sebastian well enough, but I wouldn't use it myself.
