My dad's middle name is Allan. If I had a daughter and wanted to giver her a middle name like her grandfather's, which option would be best? Are there any I didn't think of? Don't worry if something you come up with is a stretch; I'm not having kids anytime soon. Just wondering about this as a middle name option.
Alana (simplest)
Allana (closest to Allan, but sort of a weird spelling)
Alanna (I mainly like this one because of the Tamora Pierce character)
Alaina
Alanis, Alannis
Alyn, Alynn, etc. (I don't really like these ones)
Allena, Alena
Ailina (Irish version of Alan with an a on the end)
Alwen, Alwyn (not actually forms of Alan, just sound kind of similar)
