My husband really wants to use Joseph and likes Joseph Lorenzo. I like Joe. I prefer the combo Joseph Piers. Piers is sort of honoring since it's a form of my husband's name, Peter.

I think Joseph Lorenzo is a good combo but then I feel like the name lacks substance since it honors no one and is just two names we like. Our daughter's fn is what my dad wanted to name me and her mn is my mil's name. My son's mn is a family surname but his fn is just a name my husband liked.

I also like Joseph and Lorenzo but prefer both their nns, Joe and Enzo. We discussed Enzo for fn but I did not want to use a nn and don't like Lorenzo enough for fn slot.

We can't agree on anything else. I don't care for any other names that could be shortened to Joe or Enzo. Opinion? Suggestions? I'm getting frustrated.
