Morgana & Moriah?
What do you think of Morgana and Moriah? Not necessarily as a sibset.

I really love mythology, so Morgana is great in my book. It is the punchier version of Morgan. Moriah is just so-so to me. Not awful, but not striking.

Separetly, I like them... together, no. Morgana is prettier than Morgan imo, and I prefer Morgan on boys anyway. Morgana is like Millicent or Mavis to me... it's somewhat dark but still cute on a child. I think the name itself is strong and uncommon, plus is sounds pretty. It also matches lots of other names, so it seems versatile.
Moriah is super-pretty. I like both this and Mariah. Though I find Mariah more appealing to the eye... Moriah is lovlier to say and looks bolder when written. I like the meaning and history of this name and I don't hear it that often (though I do know a few). Of the two - I like Moriah better just on soft sounds and girliness, but I do like them both as names.

I love Mariah because it makes me think of a Jane Austen character, but I hate that its always associated with Mariah Carey, which in the past wouldn't have been bad but now it seems it taints the name a bit.

I agree.
I feel the same way about Whitney.

Morgana is pretty, but I don't like the witchy vibe I get from it due to the Arthurian legend. Moriah is gorgeous, I love how round the O looks and I love how it adjusts the sound of the light but air-y Mariah to be ever so slightly fuller.

The witchy element is one of my favorite parts of the name. :) It's funny how two people can have different feelings towards a name even when they have the same connotation.

I love Morgana, it's fun, but I can't get myself to like Moriah. I know it's a real name but when I look at it, it just feels like Mariah with a typo and it bugs me.

Morgana is somehow less desirable to me than Morgan. And I've never been able to figure out quite why. I want to like it, but I can't quite. That said, I'd still like to see it used more. I'd love Mo as a nickname.Moriah is not my style at all. I think of the BIblical Mount Moriah. I guess Mo could work for a nickname here too.

I prefer Morgane as a f version of Morgan, but I wouldn't use it or expect to see it used.Where I live, Moria(h) is all place-name, the HQ of a large and popular church to which thousands of pilgrims travel every Easter. Its adherents wear a star-shaped badge and are widely believed to be honest, hard-working and naive. The church is sometimes in the news because of sporadic tensions between members of its executive.

I like Morgana and prefer it over Morgan for a girl.
I don't care for Moriah, I don't care for how it sounds when I say it.

Together they're too match-y, but individually I like them - especially Morgana, it's one of my favorite names.

I love Morgana! One of my favourite girls' names. I'm not a big fan of Moriah, but it's an okay name. I know one whose name is spelt Mariah, but said like Moriah.
