Two ideas come to mind right away: Alexis. Then you can have Lexi in there and he can have Alex, but the whole name doesn't sound as cutesy/nicknamey as Lexi or as boyish as Alex.
And if you like Addison and he likes Madalyn, how about Adalyn, pronounced like Madalyn?
