Re: Names of the day, Grainne and Granuaile
in reply to a message by Bear
I've always thought Grainne was gorgeous. I like the way that looks much better, it looks warmer and more romantic, I suppose. Ohhhh I know I had some lovely combos with it, every time I need combos and realize they're all gone forever I get sad all over again! :(
Grainne Guinevere, I remember that from when I was in to fantasy ish things
Grainne Royse! Remembered that tooGranuaile is way a good GP middle name. Does it feel piratey to you? I'd like to keep it piratey, in which case I think Orla Granuaile works alright. Oona not as much, I think it's too light/white and honest... but spelling it Una would work for me, actually! I like it.
Fay Granuaile
Neas Granuaile
Mona Granuaile
Wendy Granuaile... just thought that was fun

Royse is new to me, or at least to my aging memory bank. Grainne Royse is enchanting! And Grainne Guinevere can come over and party any time. No apologies for loving a hard "g" sound. Love it. Una Granuaile is taking my brain in weird, but fun, directions. Una always makes me think of "one." Next to Granuaile a mental picture of someone counting grains emerges, which I kind of like. Thanks! Neas Granuaile is nice. What about Neasa Granuaile? This is a new name for me and I'm still in the early stages of puppy love. I believe Neas / Neasa means, "not gentle" which sits pretty well next to Granuaile. I'm loving Mona Granuaile as well. In fact, I'm going to steal it for a combination poll today. That's what you get for being generous -- I steal things. :0P Muchas gracias, Welsh one.
