Hmmm...guessing your must not care for variations like Margot, Margeaux, Madge, etc. Magdalene comes to mind, but you'd have thought of that too, I think.
Personally, I'd go with Marigold, but that one doesn't work for most folks. How about Magnolia?
Otherwise, you could go with something like Mary Agatha and form "Maggie" from combining the two.

Another idea: Dagmar/Dagmara, Morrigan, Morgana, Morgaine, Michaelangela - all names which have your desired "Mag" sounds, more or less, just not in "Mag" order. Personally, I think if the sounds are there, a little switcheroo for a nickname is no big deal.
