Re: I keep coming back to Roland
Roland is very handsome and underused. :) I'd say yes, significance can override the lack of flow. Definitely. And no judgement here on that front.Personally, it would bug me so I would probably keep tweaking. How about Roland Gill Solomon (between Roland and Gill you get almost all of Gilliland)?Three boys nappin', one mama namenerdin'

Thinking about Roland Gill Solomon, though.

Any meaning to Ariel? The flow is good. A lot of the same sounds, but in a nice echo-y way.

David's parents are Ricky and Melissa "Lissy". I was saying in my head that I need an "r and l" name and in my head, it morphed to Ariel.

How about Micky? I actually think Roland Micky / Mickey has a really quaint, "huggable" sound :)Roland Micky Solomon
Roland Riley
Roland Errol / Erol?Just spitballing :)To answer your OP, I think Roland Solomon, and Roland Solomon Gilliland are both too 'n' AND 'l' heavy, but significance can outweigh, of that's something you value more.
