Dorothea more than Dorothy, I think - certainly where I live. I like them both and would enjoy meeting a young one.

Both are totally usable and great names!

Personally, I love Dorothea and very much like Dorothy and consider both completely usable. Of course, the average person on the street may say they are "old lady names" but this doesn't bother me one bit.
