How is it any different from someone from any job posting names though? As long as they aren't giving out last names or anything. I post names I hear at work and so do others.

Yeah, I posted students' names when I worked at the schools and names from the care home. I never included last names or the name of the school/facility, so I never thought it was a problem. If it was, no one ever told me. :/

Yeah, I work for a bank and I've posted names of co-workers kids and straight up customers themselves. As long as there's no identifying info (like last names, the area you live in, where you work, whatever) it's not a problem. Even with babies you can't look up any info. I have my son's first, middle, last name and where he lives and nothing comes up with that info.
