I would assume these names were chosen by a young, single mother in her late teens or early twenties who doesn't fit the mold when we think of the young, single mother stereotype. Maybe she's a bit more educated than we think (attending university, or planning to), maybe she's not "chavvy", as the Brits would say, but her life took a U-turn and she started having kids young and she gave them the names SHE wanted. I don't see any male input in these names, at all; they just scream "young girl finding her way" to me. :/
