Re: Bad initials?
in reply to a message by Bex
Yes, bad initials would turn me off. We, unfortunately, won't use a first name that starts with P, since our last name starts with P and we could never justify P.P. for a child. It's sad to us, because we love Paulina and Priscilla. However, most people won't know that his initials are ASSA. If your last name started with an S, than I would pause because kids/people would be LOOKING for it to spell something bad if he starts with A and ends with S. However, I know plenty of people that have words as initials and they don't care (EAR, RIG, BIG, DOE, NOD, etc). *I like your combo.
Note: I love the name Simeon, it's my nephews name. However, they hate that it sounds like Simian... so it's surprising to see that you like the connection. Though, little Simzy is half Jamaican... so that may explain the distaste for monkey jokes.
