What are your thoughts on the name Georgina? Like? Dislike? Why or why not? It's another name I am tossing around for this baby.

I wouldn't use it myself, and I would typically think I strongly dislike it (I tend to not be a fan of most Georg- names), but having known someone named Georgina, it was much nicer hearing it on a person (especially since she was cool and nice). She went by Gina, which was much nicer (to me, at least ;) ) than going by Georgie.
I do prefer Georgina to Georgiana, which I think is too much of a mouthful. I guess it depends on what you're going for. If you want a perhaps more formal or frilly-sounding name I'd go with Georgiana. If you like a more snappy, youthful style, Georgina may be for you.
Brigitte (fr. pron) is far lovelier than its counterparts, imo.

I used to love Georgina; now I only like it, but it remains on my list. I like it tons more than Georgia. I also like Georgette, I think it has more spunk.
Not a fan of Brigitte.

I like Georgina very much indeed and would consider using it IRL. That does not apply to Georgia or the lumpy Georgiana!
I don't much go for French pronunciations unless one is in a Francophone area. Bridget is charming and unusual enough not to need any help.

I would be delighted to meet a Georgina. I myself would prefer the simpler Georgia, but either way is lovely. Do you think you'd call her anything for short?
Brigitte is okay. Georgina Brigitte is very nice. If you're in the U.S., it would be hard to get people to pronounce it any other way honestly.

I don't like too many -ina names. I prefer Georgia over Georgina. Georgina seems kind of precious by comparison.
But it's not bad. You still get Gigi out of it, and you can get Gina out of it too, which is kind of a treat.
Brigitte's ok. Just makes me think of Bardot - so it seems sexsymbolish. But, it's ok and you can also get Gigi out of it too.
