Made-up (I guess?) name that I like
Well I do not usually care for made-up names but I did just recently hear one borne by a real person which I like, and I told her I like it. Her names is Alendria. Have you ever heard of it before? What do you think?

That actually really pretty, like a contracted form of Alexandria. It does sound a bit like a princess in a fantasy novel...
When I was in high school, there was a baby down in the daycare center (The school had preschool through 12th grade) and her name was Ellendria. That seems like it would sound very close to this. I like it, but I don't love it.
I like it too. I haven't heard of it before, but it has a familiar quality to it - it sounds like something from a book.
I really like female names like Alendria. Lyrical and meandering. There's something mythological sounding about it.

Alendria sounds like a contraction of Alexandria, as Alendra can be a shortened form of Alexandra.
I like Alendra better, I think the 'i' is too much.

Never heard it before. I'd just go with Alexandria to cause less confusion. I don't like either name as a whole but the nicknames Allie and Didi are really cute, which might be the one thing that wins me over. If you're not into that there's Lexi, Andy, Lia or Ria. If you go with Alendria there's also Lennie.
I've never heard of it. It reminds me of Alexandria - like a contracted, more focused form of it, less expansive, and friendlier. It has one too many syllables and one too many consonants to really hit my sweet spot for getting excited about invented names, but it is very likeable.
ETA: I'm assuming it's pronounced a-LEN-dria. But on second thought, it could be AL-en-DREE-a. Which is it?
