Re: Interesting "child of the year" names
How do you even win "Child of the Year"?Anyway...Girls
Indigo-Violet - A bit too colorful for me, but I like the names on their own.
Maileigh-Rae - Atrocious spelling, but a very pretty sound. Maylis is one of my faves. Wait.... does she mean Miley or Maylis??? Hmm.
Everly (x2) - Very pretty. Though, I can't help remembering the Everly Brothers.
Primrose - Slightly pretentious, but pretty.
Lourdes - I have trouble pronouncing this name, but love the written look.
Precious-Rose - too much. Too, too much.
Fiora - Adorable.
Lillith - I like it. Happy to see it over Lily right now.
Dollie - Hmm. Not sure I like it. Eh, too childish.
Paigan - as in, heathen 1; especially : a follower of a polytheistic religion (as in ancient Rome) or, 2.: one who has little or no religion and who delights in sensual pleasures and material goods : an irreligious or hedonistic person. ? Yeah. no.
Elcie - Aww. I like Elsie a lot. This is not the best spelling, but the name is cute.
Ellexis- No. I would rather see Elixir as a legit name over this misspelling.
Vivaan- I actually like it. I Feel like it might be legit... maybe not.
Romany- Pretty, but I like it better on boys.
Taitum- Underused, but also a no frills sound. Not a fan, but like to see it.
Eeva- Hmm. I am not sure. I like Eva, and this looks cool. But, I generally think alternative (non legit) spellings are not a good thing. Boys
Zebalon - Zebulon would have been cool. This is not.
Zakariya - I love Zechariah! Why change such a spunky moniker?
Dontello - Hehe. I have a fish with this name.
Oakley (x2) - Hmm. I see this more as a girls name, ala Annie. But, not bad.
Ian - I like it, a lot.
