I really, really dislike names beginning with Kee-. Sorry but they sound so trendy and tacky.

I actually had a male student this year named Keegan. I've also had it for a girl. I like it on boys much better.

I'm generally neutral to it. It has a bit of an odd feel to it, but it's generally inoffensive.

If I were picking a name from that same name "family," I'd go with Aidan, but only use it as a middle name since I have a brother named Aidan (he's in his 30s now and was called Aidan way before it was "cool") and wouldn't want it to get confusing with regards to which Aidan I was talking to/about.

I used to know a boy called Keegan. He's like 23 or 25 or something now.

I think it's a cute name. It's hard to see it on someone over 35. It's not my style but in general I think it's a nice enough name.

Down-market trendy. There's a Keegan in DH's family (with a Travis brother!). Nice kid, unfortunate name.

Seems trendy here in the UK, unsure about elsewhere in the world.

I'm not a fan, but then i'm not a fan of K names on boys in general really. I prefer it to Kian.

I actually quite like Keegan, at least by its sound. It is not particularly attractive to my eye, but not worse than many others.

Where I live, it is not common, but I could see there being problems elsewhere with a trendiness factor. That all depends on your location, though. Also, I've never seen it on a girl, but I would much prefer it as a masculine name.

Overall, I think Keegan is just fine, and easy enough to spell and pronounce (yay!). Do you have any mn thoughts?

I knew a Keegan. He's a bit younger than me, probably around 18-20 now.

It's an all right name, not one of my favorites.

I used to ask about this name, as it is my cousin's name (born 1989), and people would always tear it down on these board.

I like it for honoring reasons, but can't detach it from the person I know. I like it though.
