Fay vs Faye
Which do you like better? I used to like Faye better but now I'm thinking Fay is better because it is the original spelling.

Faye because it looks less abrupt to me (it's also the reason I like Anne over Ann)

I prefer Fae. :) Followed by Fay, and then Faye. Faye smacks to much of trying to make a word into a name.

Fay has always looked like it's missing something, to me. I vastly prefer Faye. That said, don't forget about Fae! (Basically, the E is mandatory for me, but not the Y.)

I like Fay better but I wouldn't be at all bothered by Faye.

I prefer Fay. The 'e' looks tacked on to me, and it takes the pretty away.

I prefer Fae. I also like Fé.

Fay is neater, tidier, easy to pronounce and unambiguously feminine, so there's no need at all to stick on a gratuitous -e.

I like Faye more, it looks more feminine.

I'm not sure I'd even consider Fay the original spelling since it derives from "faie" anyway. I prefer Fey or Faye myself. Something about Fay seems too airy to me.

Even though the E is unnecessary for sound, I feel like it is necessary to complete the look. I prefer Faye. It's like Anne vs Ann for me.

I'm not a fan of the Extra Feminine Unnecessary E attached to anything. I like Fay as it is!

I think Fay looks incomplete, so I prefer Faye.
