Mathilde
What do you think of Mathilde? Or Matilde? Better than Matilda? I am starting to really like it.

I love the name Mathilde. I could really use it for a future daughter.

I love Mathilde! It's more distinctive than Matilda, so I prefer it.Clothilde / Clotilde is evern better, though.

I love Matilda and nickname Mattie, I don't really care for Mathilde or Matilde. ❤

nah, Matilda's better. Mathilde looks too clunky to me.

A (late) relative of my husband's was named Mathilde;the family was primarily French speaking.
She was always called Tildie. Quite nice, I think. I like it better than Matilda. She had a sister named Antonia, always called, would you believe, Tuna! Perhaps it goes better in French, but I'd never have allowed myself to be called Tuna!
Antonia is such a good name, too.
