I kind of like Tucker but I also hate it. Positive it makes me think of the character Cameron Tucker from Modern Family and it has a cute farm boy feel to it like Sawyer. Negative it rhymes with f*cker and it reminds me of the character Shou Tucker from Fullmetal Alchemist who does something unspeakably awful.James is nice but definitely a little bland.

Tucker does nothing for me and here in Australia, tucker is a slang word for food! James as a mn is sooooo predictable and boring imo.

I knew a Tucker once. He was a toddler then, about twenty years ago. The woman who had adopted him told me that he was named Tucker because that's what the woman who had given birth to him had wanted him to be named. I don't know if she had willingly agreed to it or was somehow legally forced into it. But even if she were legally forced into it, if she really hated it, she could have verbally called him something else, and she didn't.It's such a stupid name.

Tucker rhymes so handily with F*****. And, you know how sometimes you hear your name, but someone is saying something else...yah.

If you switch a f for a t on Tucker... no. James is so overused as a male name, I like Seamus or something like that though

When my sister was 18 she impulse-purchased a yorkipoo puppy which she named Tucker. Tucker was a cute puppy but as he aged he became pretty ugly looking - I remember nicknaming him "poodle rat" and he really did look like one. A giant curly-haired rat, I mean. Anyway, because my sister never trained him and never got him neutered, he got into all sorts of trouble, and my sister's living situation was not very stable, nor was she really up to the responsibility of a dog, so Tucker ended up staying at our house a few times, where he consistently harassed our dog Molly. Tucker was soon permanently re-homed, but still can't hear the name without thinking of that annoying dog. Also, rhymes with f*cker. And James as a middle name seems like little more than a placeholder, although I do like it.
