In Italy there are three names which root is Aurea 'golden'.
Aurea (2016 less than five babies)
Oria (2005 less than five babies)
Orietta (2016 less than five babies)
* Orietta Berti (1943-) is the most famous bearer. She is a singer.
Oriana (2016 was given to 20 babies)
* Oriana Fallaci (1929-2006) is thr most famous bearer. She was a journalist and writer.
I would like Aurea but it is too similar to another name that I really like: Aura ('breeze' In 2016 given to 19 babies).
I like Orietta only for the singer because she is elegant, simple and friendly. But I dislike the name itself.
My favourite is Oriana. I like this name: elegant but unusual with a nice meaning. The problem is that I dislike the writer but she is so famous that the link between name & bearer comes immediately, and this fact makes me feel annoyed.
