I immediately think of the lip balm brand but it is very ancient Greek so I can see the appeal, same as Io or Atlas or something.

Ee-ohs. Long e, long o. But I know a lot of people in England would say ee-aws, to rhyme with moss.

For a girl, I adore it because, in Greek myths, Eos was the name of the goddess of dawn. For I boy though, I would not rush to it as quickly. Hope this helps:).
