Petra & Peter?
Just out of curiosity, do you think it would be awful to have a son named Peter and a daughter named Petra? Definitely not twins or anything. I was just wondering because I really love both names. Wdyt?

YesIt's the same name. It would be like Alexander and Alexandra or Gabriel and Gabriella.

I personally wouldn't use them both. It's like using Alexandra and Alexander as a sibset. They're just too close. If you used one as a first name and the other as a middle name, it might be ok though.

I like both names, but to have siblings named that? Doesn't appeal to me.

AgreeBesides, talk about an identity crisis. They'd be named essentially the same thing. Yuck! They're both nice names, though.

Too close for me, sorry. I think it's okay to have siblings that start with the same letter, but for me, these are too close.

No, the names are very similar, but different enough not to be cheesy or anything.
