My twins + Question
in reply to a message by Evey
Assuming my husband had no say in the matter and all MNs are honouring or have a special meaning for me.Joining Elva Roxanna Philippa...GG
Svea Odilia Elodie

Question for everyone:
How would you assume Svea is pronounced if you'd encountered it IRL? En what about Svenja?
Would you prefer Svea or Svenja for someone else's child?
Would Svea be odd to use for a non-Swede?

I'd prnounce Svea - Svey-uh (like sway-uh but with a v sound)
Svenja would be sven-ya I like Svenja, I think it's much more approachable in an english country as Sven is not unheard of.
Svea is sweet too though, i'd be happy to see either of these, Swede or not!

These names are so refreshing! Leona Margareta Constanza is gorgeous.I pronounce Svea as "SVAY-uh" and Svenja as "SVEN-yuh."
I prefer Svea.
No, I don't think it would be odd.

I would assume SVAY-ah and SVEN-yah.
And they would need to be of strong Nordic descent to use those names and get away with them, yeah.
