Kiara
Kiara seems to be a very Australian name, like Narelle was years back.Thoughts?(sadly, the most recent well-known Kiara in Australia is crime victim Khandalyce Kiara Pearce)

I like Kiara a lot - I just find it very pretty, like Kiana.

I live in Australia and I think I've only known one Kiara but quite a lot of Kiarnas (spelled a few different ways). I do really like the sound of Kiara but prefer the Chiara spelling.

To me it looks like a misspelled/simplified version of the Italian Chiara (the Ch sounds like a K in Italian). I think it's trendy and tacky and I'd much rather see Chiara or even better Clara.

It's pretty popular here in the US, especially for black girls. It's usually pronounced Kee-AIR-a.
How in the world do you pronounce Khandalyce? Like a mangled version of Condeleeza? or like Can-Da-LEESE? Or CAN-Da-Liss? Or like Candle Ice?

I arrived at Candle Ice.

Khandalyce could also sound like Canned Alice.

I really like Kiara, I'm not sure about it being very Australian but it's a little uncommon in England. My main and only association of the name is Simba's daughter in The Lion King II.
