I prefer the meaning of Rochelle, and I'm currently fond of Ro as a feminine nickname, so yeah, probably, although I don't dislike Michelle.
If I met a Rochelle I might briefly wonder why she wasn't a Rachel, but other than that, nothing sticks out about it to me. I've never met or heard of any.

It's interesting that this seems to get associated with Rachel. Rachel is such a different name to me in style, even though they have similarities I would never associate them with each other. Michelle and Rochelle are much closer to me. But on this site it also says that Rochelle became popular because it sounds somewhat like Rachel.
