Sloane, Saint and Percival Skylar
Names I have come across.
Sloane and Saint are siblings. Sloane is a girl, Saint is a boy. The parents were the perfect example of hipster. They are expecting a new baby, I did not ask about the name.
Percival Skylar will be nicknamed Percy. His grandmother does not like it at all. At first I was a little unsure, as Percy has been seen to be a wimpy name, but then I remembered Percy Jackson. I think he'll be fine and I actually really like it.

Nope.
The way they were dressed just screamed "Look how hip and cool I am." I normally try not to judge but dude- the boy was wearing British style knickers complete with a brown sweater and hair reminiscent of 1900s baby pictures. Truly a caricature.

idk why exactly, but Sloane has some charm and cuteness factor to me. appealed to me every since i first saw it. i like how much it stands out, not sounding or looking like many other names, but it's still very simple. not a fan though of the meaning (and meanings aren't such a deal to me usually, since they're so flexible), on top of how it's a little lacking in history as a first name.
Saint is waaaay too loaded a title to be a first name imo. especially stands out when paired with something like Sloane.
i can appreciate Percival. but it does come off as uptight and a bit nerdy-in-funny-way to me, too much for me to like. Percy doesn't help imo. Percival Skylar is admittably rly pretty though, and completely usable.
