I would use Lachlan as the first name because you love it. Your husband had two other sons and chose not to use William or Liam for either one. If you want to use Liam or William as a middle name then go for it, but I wouldn’t feel pressured because he didn’t prioritize it for any of his other kids. How about Lachlan Liam or Lachlan William David?
