New baby
Dominic.
Joins brothers Timothy, Brandon, and Delon. The other three were all named after their dads.

It's okay. I get a bit of a macho vibe from Dominic, but that's not necessarily bad, and it's a classic.
Four brothers with four different fathers. Wow. That's kind of an accomplishment for Mom? heh
I like Dominic and Brandon, neutral about Delon (not sure how to say it), and Timothy never appealed to me, I think I get "tin moth" from it.
Dominic probably got the best name of the four IMO

Although I'm not a fan of Dominic (I have the same thing, that "dom" means "stupid" in my language), I prefer it over Delon and Timothy. Delon is just not my thing. I prefer just Tim over Timothy. Brandon is okay, just a bit dated to me, but since he's older already and named after his father I guess that makes sense.
Gosh. Does little Dominic share a dad with any of them?
I like Dominic, though 'dom' = 'stupid' where I live, though with different pronunciation. But Nic(k) is an OK nn if one is needed.
I like Timothy a lot. The only Tim I know, I really like, which helps.
Brandon is awful: would-be film star meets gutter thug.
The only Delon I've ever known was a funny, delightful kid. Good associations!

Shad, eh? At last I've found a worse name than Brandon! Only because where I live, a shad is a very delicious ocean fish that appears off our coasts now and then, but far too seldom for me. Not a human name, though. Chad would have been more human.
Adoption ... such a leap in the dark. Surely one must always feel - not regret of course, what high-school girl can deal with motherhood? But certainly nostalgia.
