Now I don't generally know what people mean by "it sounds like a hillbilly name" (being British an all that) but all I can see with this name is the hillbilly from The Simpsons.

I'm not wild on it myself, but it's easy to say and I like it more than /some/ names I've seen recently. I think it might be that Cletus at least sounds like a nice person, if a bit dim-witted. I feel like I'd be invited in for roasted possum and lye soup.
