Favourite masculine name: Akira
Favourite feminine name: MikaAkira has always felt simultaneously very physically strong and studious to me. Curiously enough, I think Kira sounds rather brutish for a girl, but Akira combines physical and mental strength. It also reminds me of Rabbi Akiva.Mika sounds very cheerful, energetic, and slightly metallic. It reminds me of bubbling springs, foxes, and high-tech cities. It's also the stage name of one of my favourite pop singers, so it feels fun and camp-y to me, like his music.Favourite meaning of masculine name: Hinata, "towards the sun" or "sunflower"
Favourite meaning of feminine name: Haruka, "distant", "remote", "clear weather", "spring".Favourite spelling of masculine name: Hayate, 颯
