Felix?
WDYT?I was trying to find names for someone's baby due in November, so I went ahead and used some of my favourite names and names that I just found. After that, I went through the biblical names and ended up finding Felix.
I think it's nice, and interesting."I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious."

I love it and actually named my own son Felix. No one has ever said anything to me about it being a cat name although they may have thought it. :P

I like it. It would suit my son, and it was on my short list before he was born and it's still a name I'd consider if I have another son.

It’s reasonably popular for kids in Denmark. We have a prince called Felix who’ll turn 18 in a couple of days. I’d say the popularity started with him. It was very “out there” as a name before but it’s quite popular today. It doesn’t do much for me. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. The meaning is nice.

I think it has finally lost the shadow of its famous cartoon namesake in most peoples’ eyes. We’re also starting to see it for Linus, and someday I’m sure we’ll see it happen for Kermit and others, too. It’s got a lot of sounds that people find pleasant, like F/V, L and X, so it’s become quite popular, and that’s actually where it loses me. I don’t like it enough to ignore the popularity.

It’s one of my favorite boys’ names.

I think it’s a nice name. Yes, there is the cat association but I don’t think it’s as bad as say Morris or Garfield.

I love Felix! It's linked in my mind to Dexter. I think it's spunky and cute. I don't think of Felix the cat immediately, and without reading the comments below I'm guessing at least one person mentions it's better for a cat.I immediately think of the character in Orphan Black, which may not be the best namesake, but he was a ton of fun so I still love it.

I love Felix! It has a positive meaning, a gregarious sound, the fashionable x letter, and I don't really mind that it sounds like a cat's name.

Such a cat cliche that I wouldn't inflict it on a human. Plus, I really, really love Felicity so that would eliminate Felix too.

I adore this name and my DH loves it too. We also love biblical names, but I wouldn’t say the biblical Felix is someone I’d like to name my child after! He wasn’t a very nice man at all. That’s why we didn’t use it for DS#2 or DS#3! Great name though.

Its normal here in Australia, like easily known as a name but theres not 10 in every class. I like it, I know a couple Felix's and their all good people. My mum liked it for my brother but then someone said that its a common cat name and she never went back to it and ended up calling him Tim.

It’s my nephew’s name so I’m very partial to it. :D I’ve always liked it so I was really glad when my brother decided to use it.
