To be honest, if my name was Adriana and someone told me they'd named their daughter "Eliana" or any mash up name to "honour me" I'd be offended. If it isn't my actual name or a nickname I use regularly then you haven't named your child after me, you've just used a name you like and still get kudos for it. If I was Elizabeth "Beth" and you named your child Bethany "Beth" after me I would be accepting of that.
