I'm unfamiliar with Sera as a name.I pronounce Sarah with the first syllable rhyming with air, and Sara with the first syllable rhyming with far.I suppose I prefer Sarah, which is the most obvious spelling and a family name (nearly used on me, and I'm glad it wasn't!), but I find them all pretty dusty, dull and dated.

Sera as a nickname for Seraphina.

I like Sera better because it's more interesting, followed by Sara, but it's honestly a pretty boring name.Sarah feels more meek and docile.

I like Sera but only as a NN for Seraphina, otherwise I prefer Sarah than Sara as the stand-alone

Sarah is the best spelling imo. I normally don't like silent Hs but it looks unfinished to my eye without it.I like it, I think it has reached the point of being fresh and deservingof a comeback. It is common maybe even "boring" to some but to me it holds the same appeal as Mary. Simple, classic, timeless and not popular in the newest generation.
