Unisex (more)
It feels unisex but goes a bit more towards the masculine side as I know more boys named Alex. However, I am genuinely so sick and tired of this nickname and wouldn't use it for a boy or a girl. But Alex is genuinely a name that I wish people would stop using. It has been crazy common since at least the 80s.I know so many.Alexander was super common for boys and for girls Alexandra, Alexis, Alexa and Alexandria made the top 100. It needs a good rest. I find it even more tired than Kate and Katie even though these two are at least somewhat pleasant and there aren't also a million boys around with them. The only one of the Alex-names I still like is Alexa because it isn't that likely to get shortened and Alexis (but I am tired of it). Please rate my list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/6232
