I like Sheila; I'm always a bit puzzled that I don't like it more than I do. It sounds soft and gentle, and I don't think it was ever popular enough to be tied to one age group - certainly not where I live.

Hi !!!Actually here in Italy this kind of names are trendy.I personally know a Sheila and another Shaila. None of them has foreign background.

I wouldn’t say it’s an old lady’s name but I’ve always found the sound incredibly unattractive.

I'm not really a fan of Sheila, idk why. I don't consider any name an "Old lady name," personally. If you like it, you can use it. It isn't overly common atm, so it would be unique. I love a kind of similar sounding name, Shayla.

I agree with the age comment. I just don’t think of a child but a 60+ year old..
