I prefer Theodora
a) I like Dora as a nickname
b) Theodosia (pronounced theo-dose-ia) - all I hear is 'dose', therefore doctors
c) Theodosia (pronounced theo-doe-zha) - all I hear is 'deja vu'

Theodosia + questionHow do you guys pronounce it? I always pronounced the "Sia" part with a zh sound or said zee-a, like in azure, but the btn entry says sha or see-a.

I automatically pronounce it Thee-oh-doe-sha like Anastasia as Ann-ah-stay-sha. But I can be corrected if the character in a medium (never met an IRL) pronounced it differently. Otherwise my secondary pronunciation is closest to Thee-oh-doe-zee-ah

Theodora sounds more stuffy and matronly to me, Theodosia feels more universal whereas Theodora always makes me think 45-65 in age. I prefer other -dora alternatives. Though... I don't hate it per say but I would categorize it under "ugly cute"

Theodosia because it's softer sounding and has it's own lullaby via Hamilton. Dear Theodosia is so sweet, I may even sing it to future kids even if it isn't their name lmao

I prefer Theodora, and I don't know why.
