If I had to choose I’d pick Gabriel, although I hate the bloated sound. Where I’m from, “Peter” is a euphemism for “penis”.

I prefer the name Peter by a long shot. I find the name Peter so handsome and alluring. It also has a rich history and long usage, but it’s not very common anymore. Also, the meaning “stone”? Bruh, that’s so cool. Also, I like the nickname Pete.I think Gabriel is an alright name, but it’s not one that I’d use.

I like Gabriel more than Peter. I like the NN Gabe!

Gabriel is my favorite name of all time. Peter is nice but family guy has ruined it for me.

Gabriel was, to my mind, overused not all that long ago. I would generally go for Peter. That said, I actually like both names a lot, though not as a combination.

GabrielGabriel wins for me. Peter is okay but I don’t have good associations with it and Gabriel has a lovely etymology I find interesting and stand-outish.

Gabriel sounds cool, although I can't stand any NNs.

Peter is my son's name. I chose it to honour a friend and because I liked it for being timeless and stylish. Gabriel has such a strong religious meaning and reference that I would always avoid it.

I like both, but Gabriel feels a little more interesting and distinct.
