I’ve loved it since I was a kid from watching Disney’s Halloweentown movies. I still watch the whole series every year, so I associate it with the character which is cute,, creative and spunky.

Reminds me of the Hitchcock film.

I think it's really grim. It reminds me of the Marne region, and it's also the Polish word for "miserably".

I’m not a fan of this name at all.

I think it sounds like a grandmother/grandfather's name, unisex. It sounds childish at the same time.

Maybe it's because of the people I know named Marnie, but I picture someone strong, confident, and effortlessly cool.

I love it! It's my mothers name, but she doesn't like it at all.

I have three in my brownies this term. My first association with the name though are a series of movies I think were called Halloween Town. One of the lead characters was called Marnie Piper and her grandmother was Splendora Agatha Cromwell. I loved the character but I never enjoyed the name.

I love Marnie! It’s apparently a diminutive of Marina and therefore a distant relative of Mary. It makes me think of the lovely girl from When Marnie Was There.
