The only one I don't like is Branwen. I don't like Anwen, wither. I think it's the short-A sound followed by a W that is grating on me. It sounds... nasally?Out of Bronwen and Bronwyn, I prefer the -wen spelling (same for Gwendolen), though I recognize the -wyn spellings as being more popular even though, in Welsh, that's a masculine suffix (and these are Welsh names). I used to know a Bronwyn back in college, and thought her name was interesting then - doubly so when I realized (from the graduation brochure) that her full name was Bronwyn Rebecca.
