I like Sylvia; Celeste is too hissy with Sylvia and also has a rather ambitious meaning! A former colleague was named Celeste and hated it with a passion: accused her parents of sentimentality and made everyone call her Sally. Which I prefer, but once again, not with Sylvia.

I like Celeste but don't like Sylvia, I prefer Sylvie

I really like both names individually but the combo is too repetitive in first syllable sounds, it doesn’t flow the best.

I like it! The sibilance is actually a bonus for me even though I don't usually go for alliteration or assonance in names.

Sylvia Celeste is pretty, no real complaints. I put together Sylvie Magnolia the other day, and I am in love. Just gorgeous.

Individually I like both names, but I dislike the "sil"/"sil" repetition in this combo when said aloud.Edit: today I learned a new word, "sibilance" (https://www.dictionary.com/browse/sibilance). It does describe the repetitious first syllables.
