It's pleasant, but quite dated. I like it, but prefer it as a middle name.

It's a nice name. I especially like it for a middle name.

I've never liked the sound of Michelle, honestly. I definitely label it dated, a trend that has blessedly become less common with time. That "shell" syllable has always stuck me as off, somehow.

It's weird how it has a totally different vibe than Mitchell imv, yet they sound alike and were popular around the same time. It's ok...older but sweet and fairly common...reminds me of Julie.

Attractive. Don't agree with those who label it dated, more like a classic standard.

It’s dated. I prefer Michaela. Michael on a boy is ok.

Dated even as a middle name

Very pretty: the Beatles knew a good name when they heard one. Dated, though, whereas Michael really isn't.I prefer Michele or, preferably, Michèle though it does cause problems. I have two good friends, one French and one English-speaking South African, both of whom use the Michèle version.
