Change Avery. Melody is fine.

I like Melody, and Avery isn't too bad, but they don't fit very well.

Avery is all surname to me, and I suppose masculine if anything. And Melody was ruined when I met one who was exquisitely beautiful and well-mannered but a cheat and a liar second to none. I probably wouldn't have liked it much anyway; don't enjoy Melanie, for instance.

I think it’s a sweet combo :D with the rhyming I would keep it for twins, but I like that they have different impressions, and they don’t step on each other’s toes.

No. Not a fan of either, but Avery is masculine to me so it doesn't work.
