Critical comments come with a simple truth: the people who make them are, in most cases, dicks whose complaints shouldn't be justified, but they should be respected just as much as positive comments. If we're talking about assigning genders for letters in general, and not in the case of names, then, yes, it may be a better choice for the Lounge.

A true simple truth is, people resort to personal attacks only when they don't have anything intelligent to say.
I was just making a cynical prediction about what'd happen if I moved it. It does technically belong over there, but I think it's fine to leave it here, esp. since the innocent error of posting it has been acknowledged.
I usually answer fun topics like this, but I can't here, because I honestly don't perceive any letters as gendered. They seem to have certain qualities, for sure, but not gender.
