Yes, male names can end with A. (Sacha etc) But, please refer to my other comment. I know that these things don't DEFINE a feminine name, but LaFree and especially Freea sound very feminine.

and yet its ok to name a girl a "masculine sounding" name like James or Blake or even Jordan for that matter, right!

Well, first of all, this isn't about that, and second of all, I don't agree with naming girls traditionally masculine names like that either.
