I'm a lover of Russian names too...
... and I know I will consider adopting from Russia in the future.But I don't think it was necessary for the children to change their names, because people will generally be able to pronounce them. I much prefer Slava to Joe, Sergei to Reagan, Kirill to Dan and Zhenya to Douglas (even though it sounds a bit feminine). Lucas is fine.I love the name Vitaly, and he shouldn't have to change his name.
