Which do you most prefer from the names listed in the subject?

Xavier has always been a favorite, but second pick is Sebastian. Always loved that one, too. I respect Maximillian but find Alexander boring.

I like all of them, but my favorite is Xavier. It's modern yet an uncommon classic. The EX-ay-vyer pronunciation is appalling, though.
Then Maximilian, Sebastian and lastly Alexander.

Alexander. Pleasant nns, and it's a family name.
Then Max, short for Maximilian; can't imagine anyone using that whole name every time.
Xavier should be pleasant, but so many people seem to pronounce it Ex-Ayvier that I wouldn't risk it.
Sebastian lacks distinction where I live.

Alexander. I genuinely like Alex. Although I like Alexandra for gals, even more.
Xavier is cool, however still feels a little coopted to me when used by Americans like myself. I imagine that soon it will not, though.
Sebastian is a name I used to hate. It still sort of sounds like a name for a soap-opera character, to me. But I warmed up to it a little bit when my kids were in preschool and there was a little Sebastian in the class. I still dislike its lack of cool nicknames. Seb and Bastian are unappealing.
I once stood in line at the post office behind a guy who gave his name to the clerk as Maximilian, and he spelled it, and it was so long ... seemed pretentious to me, to the point that I almost laughed out loud at the poor guy. Like if his name was Nebuchadnezzar or Marcellinus. I like nn Max sometimes, though.

I love Xavier and Alexander and don’t like the other two.
Xavier > Alexander > Maximilian > Sebastian
