Daisy and Misty I like. Another one: Missy. I know an older woman with that name, and it's very nice.

I realize that I'm agreeing with most of your names except two 😂.
Ollie is cute for a little boy, short for Oliver.

I actually know an older woman named Missie as well, but I believe it is short for Melissa (not sure on spelling) and I think I prefer that to being named Missy/Missie straight out the womb!
These are all amazing examples I hadn’t thought of. The repeating syllable is really cloying to me.
I do like August but Auggie as a nn would drive me up the wall.

I dunno. I guess because I come from a family that loves using cutesy nickname-names, I still see them as fine, real names. I've had ancestors and family members named Lottie, Toni, Coco, Lillie, Derry, Tressie, Tommy, Kelly, Jennie, Willi, and Rudi. I don't know if some of them did technically have longer names recorded somewhere, but most of them were buried under these little names and were never called anything else all their lives.
Once I got out into the world and started meeting real live professional people with names like Dixie and Ollie and Penny I realized it's really not a big deal. Actually a lot of these types of names have kind of become a status symbol; rich people love giving each other and their kids silly little names, so something fluffy or childish like Didi, Cookie, or Chip actually screams "old money" to me, ironically.
The only names I find really unfortunate are things like Sissy. And one time I met a girl named Dodo, which I thought was pretty bad.... but she was a mega-rich Middle Eastern heiress so I didn't feel too sorry for her.
There was an actress from Old Hollywood called Googie Withers - I always found that one a bit hard to take seriously.

I absolutely love lottie and Lillie!(I believe Googie was not the actress real name but Georgette)♡
Googie is pretty hard to stomach but I guess when you’re a rich actress it’s all a moot point.
Might I ask what culture you grew up in where the elite class used nicknames? That’s different from my own culture so it’s interesting to me as I’ve never considered that.

North American/Canadian culture. I've also lived in the UK.
I was like, "Names that are too cutesy? Hm, I'm not so sure"...then, I saw your list and instantly agreed with some of them! A lot of these I don't even consider to be actual names.
Bee
Honey
Bunny
Birdie
Dolly
Teddy
Lolly
Lolita
Sunny (I know a Sunni in her 40s.)
Clover
Fifi
Mimi
Pansy
Collie
Cat / Kat
Cleo
(Funnily enough, though...I think Kiki is nice on a girl, and I don't hate Gigi either! Those names are extremely cutesy- I don't know why that I like Kiki as a full name.)

I know a lot of people have the full name Mia, but I think it is much better as a nickname.

It always seem incomplete to me.
The first one I thought of is Clarabelle. I also think Belle on its own is too cutesy, but I’m not sure if that’s just me.
A lot of diminutives are too cute to stand alone.

Clarabelle is absolutely a cow name in my opinion!
That’s exactly that I was thinking when I posted this! Maybe it’s because of the cow Clarabelle from Mickey Mouse?
Mickey is also far too cute to be a full name in my opinion, either for a girl or boy.
Most of them I find unacceptable. Daisy and Tansy are fine, no problem there; Pippa and Penny are excellent nicknames, but I'd definitely expect them to be Philippa and Penelope! I should add that my daughter Beatrice goes by the nn Bea; not quite Bee, but close. So did her grandmother, after whom she is named.
On the male side, I know Kit as a nn for Christopher. Which is how I hope it will stay.

Daisy, Dolly, Minnie, Honey, Fawn
Jillian is a great name. Is your niece very young? Maybe she will grow out of it.
I knew a 30-something Jilly, and more than one 40-something Chrissy. Sometimes it's hard to grow out of these childish nicknames.
For me, probably Dino, Candy, Cherry, and Kiki. I do like Kiki but I don't like it as a full name.
These are great examples. I very much imagine Dino as a pet name rather than a person name. And Kiki Is cute but I’d prefer it as a nn for Kianna or the like.
